Most balls last a fortnight with a serious chewer. This one is moulded from a dense, high-rebound compound with no seam to split and no squeaker to gut, so it keeps bouncing long after the tennis balls have been shredded.

Toys fail where two halves are joined. This one is moulded as a single dense body, so there is no line for a determined jaw to work open.
The surface is contoured rather than perfectly round, so it kicks off at odd angles and keeps a smart dog chasing instead of getting bored after four throws.

Because the bounce is unpredictable, dogs will nose and chase it around the garden without you throwing it. Useful on days when you cannot be out there for an hour.
Heavy enough to roll properly on grass, soft enough on the surface that it will not chip a skirting board or a tooth.

The ball is formed in a single moulding cycle from a dense high-rebound polymer, which is what gives it both the bounce and the bite resistance — there is no shell over a hollow core to collapse. The textured exterior is moulded in, not printed on, so it will not wear smooth and lose grip. There are no glued parts, no inserts and nothing a dog can pull free.
